<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed culture medium for Japanese ginger, for suppressing the pH of a culture medium from becoming alkaline by adding granular charcoal to coconut husk fiber so as to grow Japanese ginger in a preferable environment for a long period, and retaining the cultivation environment of Japanese ginger in a comfortable condition by evenly dispersing granular charcoal in coconut husk fiber while easily simply installing a nutritious liquid culture medium. <;P>;SOLUTION: The compressed culture medium for Japanese ginger is obtained by compression molding three-dimensionally directionlessly aggregated coconut husk fiber 41 to a plate-like form of a prescribed thickness, and is supplied with water and placed on a base culture medium 30 to bring to a nutritious liquid culture medium 4 for Japanese ginger and grow Japanese ginger. The compressed culture medium for Japanese ginger is compression molded to a prescribed thickness by mixing 3-25 wt.% granular charcoal 42 with the coconut husk fiber 41 in a dispersing condition. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
