PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generating apparatus capable of generating fine mist stably from an electrode, and miniaturizing a structure by dispensing with a tank.SOLUTION: A mist generating apparatus is constituted by providing an atomizer 41 including an electrode 49 on a body 1, and arranging the electrode 49 having deliquescence in a high-humidity space 45 in the body 1. In this case, moisture in the air is condensed by the electrode 49 having deliquescence and water is taken into the electrode 49, and thereby fine mist can be generated from the electrode 49 in the body 1, while having a conventional small-sized structure dispensing with a tank. Further, since the electrode 49 is placed in the high-humidity space 45 in the body 1, even in such an environment that, for example, a humidity in the room is low and moisture in the air cannot be taken into the electrode 49, moisture can be taken continuously into the electrode 49 from the atmosphere of the high-humidity space 45, and fine mist can be generated stably.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】電極から安定的に微細ミストを発生させることができ、しかもタンクを不要にして構造を小型化することが可能なミスト発生装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のミスト発生装置は、電極49を備えた霧化装置41を本体1に設け、潮解性を有する電極49を、本体1内の高湿度空間45に配置して構成される。この場合、潮解性を有する電極49によって空気中の水分を結露させ、電極49に水を取り込むことにより、従来のタンクを不要にした小型の構造でありながら、本体1内の電極49から微細ミストを発生させることが可能になる。また、電極49は本体1内の高湿度空間45に置かれるため、例えば室内の湿度が低く、空気中の水分を電極49に取込めない環境であっても、高湿度空間45の雰囲気中から水分を絶えず電極49に取り込むことができ、安定的に微細ミストを発生させることが可能になる。【選択図】図4
