PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pack reliably ingredients in a mass of rice.SOLUTION: Rice ball molding equipment comprises: a folding unit 17 having two movable plates 17-2 attached to both sides of a fixing plate 17-1 via hinges 17b and turning so that free ends of the movable plates 17-2 come close to each other above the fixing plate 17-1 a formation part 35d having a folding line formation part 35d-L for forming two folding line parts R1 mutually parallel to a sheet-shaped rice mass R on positions inside of a position facing the hinges 17b when the formation part 35d is mounted on the folding units 17 and a molding table 18 for compressing the folded rice mass R for molding rice ball. By turning of the movable plates 17-2, the rice mass R is folded at the folding line parts R1.
