PURPOSE: A handpiece type plasma device capable of local disinfection and sterilization is provided to effectively sterilize a subject material without damage. CONSTITUTION: A handpiece type plasma device capable of local disinfection and sterilization comprises a handpiece type plasma reactor(10) and a AC voltage apparatus(20). The handpiece type plasma reactor comprises a ground electrode(11), a power electrode(12), and a dielectric pipe(13). The ground electrode forms an outer body of the reactor. The dielectric pipe is inserted into the inside of the power electrode.본 발명은 대기압에서 저온의 헬륨 플라즈마 또는 헬륨 및 산소 혼합기체 플라즈마를 제트 형태의 분사 방식으로 토출하여 국부소독 및 살균을 하는 핸드피스형 플라즈마 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 플라즈마 장치는 핸드피스형 플라즈마 반응기와 교류전압장치로 이루어진다. 핸드피스형 플라즈마 반응기는 반응기의 외관 몸체를 형성하는 접지전극, 전원 인가를 위한 전원전극, 및 내부로 방전기체가 통과되어 플라즈마가 생성되는 석영관이 반응기의 외부에서 내부로 동심원상으로 순차적으로 배치된다. 방전기체로는 헬륨 또는 헬륨 및 산소 혼합기체를 사용한다.
