PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for manufacturing a composition containing a poorly water-soluble aromatic compound, where the dissolution of the poorly water-soluble aromatic compound (component (A) of the present invention) in water is excellent.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a composition containing a poorly water-soluble aromatic compound includes a step in which the following are heat-treated at a temperature of 100-180°C in the presence of an aqueous medium: (A) a poorly water-soluble aromatic compound； (B) a divalent alcohol； and (C) an alcohol that is at least trivalent.【課題】難水溶性芳香族化合物（本発明の成分（Ａ））の水への溶解性に優れる難水溶性芳香族化合物含有組成物を製造する新たな方法の提供。【解決手段】水性媒体の存在下、（Ａ）難水溶性芳香族化合物と（Ｂ）二価アルコールと（Ｃ）三価以上のアルコールを１００～１８０℃で加熱処理する工程を含む、難水溶性芳香族化合物含有組成物の製造方法。【選択図】なし
