PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants-type disposable diaper that suppresses diaper strain due to a flexible structure.SOLUTION: A pants-type disposable diaper is configured to solve the above problem as follows: a longitudinal direction range from the edge of a waist opening WO to an edge on the waist opening WO side of an interior body fixed area 12X or to an end on the waist opening WO side in an exterior body 12 is made a continuous stretching area C stretched over the entire width direction the longitudinal direction range of the interior body fixed area 12X on the longitudinal direction center side from the continuous stretching area C in the exterior body 12 is made an intermittent stretching area M in which at least a width direction middle section L of the interior body fixed are 12X is not stretchable and both sides in the width direction are stretchable and a width direction shrinkage rate of a natural length state of the intermittent stretching area M is higher than the width direction shrinkage rate of the natural length state of the continuous stretching area C.
