A bullock drawn traction sprayer was designed considering agronomical, functional requirements and physical and economical considerations. The performance of the sprayer was evaluated for different parameters in laboratory and field conditions at 21 kg/cm2 pressure. The total boom discharge is 9.97 lits. / min. and the draft required ranges from 65 to 73 kg and develops the average power 0.69 hp which is within the range of draught pair. The effective field capacity is 1.33 ha/hour with the average speed of 2.53 km / hour with a pair of bullock.
