PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which hardly gives stimulation to a skin of a wearer in wearing time, and which can reduce a skin trouble such as redness of a skin, eczema, miliaria and rash.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 of the invention comprises a stretchable area ST of an elastic body 71 on a back side waist flap FB. The back side waist flap FB has a skin side nonwoven fabric 5 formed of a hydrophobic fiber on a side closer to a skin of a wearer than the elastic body 71. The skin side nonwoven fabric 5 has a hydrophilic area 4T on a position which has an interval toward a crotch area C side from a position of an outer end edge 5B1 on a back side area B in a vertical direction X. The elastic body 71 has a thread-like elastic member 711 and the thread-like elastic member 711 is arranged between an outer end 1B in the vertical direction X of the back side area B and an outer end edge 4TB1 of the hydrophilic area 4.
