PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refreshing feel-maintaining agent with reduced undesirable taste, the agent comprising monomenthyl glutarate.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a refreshing feel-maintaining agent consists of monomenthyl glutarate (MMG) and dimenthyl glutarate (DMG). The composition comprises dimenthyl glutarate at a content of 5% by mass or less and monomenthyl glutarate with high purity at a content of 95% by mass or higher.
