Le transporteur (1) reçoit le grain provenant du camion qui est à larrêt, soulève ledit grain et le place dans lensacheuse à ensilage jusquà ce que le camion (2) soit entièrement vide, du fait de la capacité du transporteur à grain à pivoter autour dun axe de pivot (y) coïncidant généralement avec ladmission du grain (6), supporté par un train de roues (13, 14) permettant ensemble au transporteur de tourner tout en fonctionnant, dadopter une position de mouvement autonome dans laquelle le transporteur peut être dirigé et se positionner lui-même derrière un autre nouveau camion, et une position de remorquage dans laquelle le transporteur peut être fixé à un véhicule pour être transporté à lintérieur ou à lextérieur du champ à travailler.
