PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone fixing device preventing a head part of a screw from highly projecting from a plate surface by preventing the shavings of a bone generated in time of screwing-in of the screw from being sandwiched between the head part of the screw and a plate.SOLUTION: This bone fixing device includes: the screws each having the head part and a shaft part and the fixing plate 30 having a plurality of insertion holes 35 through each of which the screw shaft part is inserted. The screw inserted through the insertion hole 35 of the fixing plate 30 is screw-fitted in one of the bones to be joined, and the screw inserted through the other insertion hole 35 of the fixing plate 30 is screw-fitted in the other of the bones to connect both the bones. The inner circumference of the insertion hole 35 is formed with: an arc-shaped part 39 fit for the screw shaft part and a cutout part 41 forming a gap in the outside diameter direction.
