PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary fixing pin capable of quickly performing a temporary fixing operation on a bone of the bone joining plate without forming a through hole for the temporary fixing pin in the bone joining plate. SOLUTION: The temporary fixing pin 1 is inserted into an insertion hole for inserting a sonic weld pin formed in an osteosynthesis plate to temporarily fix the osteosynthesis plate to a bone, and is formed on an inner surface of the insertion hole. A pedestal portion 2 having a contact surface to be abutted, a columnar insertion portion 3 protruding from the pedestal portion and inserted into a hole formed in the bone, and a columnar insertion portion 3 protruding from the pedestal portion to the opposite side to the insertion portion.
