PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset ink composition used for ink-coated paper for blister packs which has excellent coatability and printability such as surface strength, blister resistance and print gloss and an ink-coated paper for blister packs. SOLUTION: The offset ink composition is used for ink-coated paper for blister packs and comprises (a) 5-50 wt.% of calcium carbonate, (b) 5-50 wt.% of a vegetable oil, (c) 3-75 wt.% of a rosin phenol resin and (d) 0-0.1 wt.% of a wax or silicone.
