PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide beautifully baked rice cake having less shape deformation by swelling.SOLUTION: Square rice cake 10 includes: plane slits 12 along the transverse direction of upper and lower planes 11 and side face slits 16, 16 along the longitudinal direction of a pair of side face 15 on which the plane slit 12 appears.
