The fan (15) is driven by a hydraulic motor (28) supplied by a pump. The pump (29) is a tandem one, with one half (30) supplying only the fan motor, and the other (33) the remaining hydraulic equipment and accessories. It can be designed to fit onto the power take-off stub-shaft. Its second half can supply the motors (24,24',24") of rotary rakes and/or the share-lifting mechanism. The drive to the rake can be cut off when working if desired, and the direction of rotation of the rakes can be reversible.
