PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer machine which enables a caretaker to make a care-receiver get in and out in a more comfortable position and in and out of which the care-receiver can get from not only its front direction but also its lateral direction.SOLUTION: The transfer machine 1 includes: a carriage 10 which has wheels 14 a handle 20 which is arranged upright at the front end of the carriage 10 a frame 30 which is arranged upright in the center of the carriage 10 a seat surface 40 which is attached to a frame 30 and an arm 50 which is attached to the frame 30. A lifting and rotating mechanism 33 for moving up and down and rotating the seat surface 40 and the arm 50 in an integrated manner with respect to the carriage 10 is formed in the frame 30. A chest pad 52 is formed on the arm 50.
