PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which is excellent in absorption of excreted liquid such as urine, soft feces, etc. and makes excreted liquid be hardly attached to the skin of a wearer.SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 is provided with an absorbing body 4 and a surface sheet 2 which is provided on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbing body 4. The absorbing body 4 is configured so as to include an absorptive core 40 and a core wrap sheet 41 which covers at least the skin-facing surface 40a of the absorptive core 40. The surface sheet 2 has a large number of protrusions 25 protruding toward the skin side of the wearer. The absorptive core 40 is formed with a slit 5 extending in a predetermined direction X, and the slit 5 has an opening 50 on at least the non-skin-facing surface 40b side of the absorptive core 40.
