PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for agent material capable of suppressing deformation of a cover member when the cover member is detached.SOLUTION: The container for agent material comprises a support member (20) and a cover member (40). The support member (20) comprises a holding part (22) for holding a lower part of an agent material (10) and an engagement part (30) for engaging the cover member (40). The cover member (40) has a cylindrical cover body (42) opening downward and an engaged part (50) engaged to the engagement part (30). The engaged part (50) has a projection part (52) projecting outward from an upper portion of a lower end of an outer peripheral surface of the cover body (42), a side wall part (54) extending downward from an outer end of the projection part (52) and having a shape overlapping to the cover body (42) in a radial direction over whole area of the peripheral direction, and an engagement part (56) connected to a lower end of the side wall part (54) and having a shape capable of being engaged to the engagement part (30).
