PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for conveying a thin-walled container having a flexible body and a capped thin-walled container. SOLUTION: The conveying device for the thin-walled container includes a delivery device 312 arranged on a side for delivery and a receiving device 316 arranged on a side for receiving. The delivery device 312 includes a holding mechanism for retaining a part of the side surface of the peripheral wall of a neck ring 115 including a corner, that is, a gripper 313. The receiving device 316 includes a retaining mechanism for retaining the other part of the side surface of the peripheral wall of the neck ring 115 including the other corner, that is, a gripper 317.
