Molding equipment for casting and marking moldings with characters and symbols, comprises mold components with marking devices held by common carrier or connection system
The mold comprises a number of components (1) and devices marking characters or symbols onto the molding, held by a common carrier. Adjacent components have connectors holding them together, which can be pulled out in the direction of molding extraction. The connectors are slots, enabling connection or pulling-apart. The components clip together, make surface contact or interlock. The connectors are on the sides of the components facing away from the molding mass. Contact surfaces of the connectors are at an angle, especially 45[deg], to the surfaces contacting the mass. A clip is provided in the assembled state. Devices connecting components together make only area contact. Interlocking is employed to fix the components together. Clips surround and hold together adjacent individual components. The clips are plastic and/or metal. The material contacting the mass is a low-friction plastic; it is a polyolefin, especially polypropylene. The marking components impressing the characters or symbols are held by a common carrier, a profile. The carrier is used to store and/or stamp the characters. The markings can also be three-dimensional representations.
