The present invention provides an absorbent article for animals that is fitted to an animal's ventral part while being supported by a support body fitted to the animal's dorsal part, and is less likely to contract in the animal's cranial-caudal direction even when the animal wearing the article moves and can make it less likely for the animal's excreta to leak to the outside. This absorbent article, which is fitted to the animal's ventral part while being supported by a support body (2) fitted to the animal's dorsal part, comprises: an absorber (13) disposed in a location that includes a central portion where center lines in the longitudinal direction and the width direction intersect； and attachment parts (17, 18) of longitudinal end parts (15, 16) that extend widthwise of the end parts (15, 16) respectively and are detachably attached to the support body (2).
