The disposable pant-type absorbent article includes a chassis having a front section and a back section, an absorbent core, a front region configured for receiving the genitals of a male user, in which the front section at least partly is made of an elastic material comprising at least one elastic element. The absorbent core within a front region, under the influence of side elastic elements and elastic web material is adapted to bulge outwardly during use of the article to form a bowl shaped portion for receiving the genitals of a male user.
