PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood collection tube preparation device capable of appropriately transferring a blood collection tube of an accommodation device to an optionally selected one of a plurality of juxtaposed label printing and sticking devices.SOLUTION: A parallel transfer mechanism 21 and a vertical transfer mechanism 20 are disposed in a blood collection tube preparation device. The parallel transfer mechanism 21 includes: a conveyor 28 disposed to cross the vicinity of each label printing and sticking device to transfer a blood collection tube Y in the lateral direction and a stand-by part 26 provided at positions facing respective label printing and sticking devices on the conveyor 28. The vertical transfer mechanism 20 is configured to transfer the blood collection tube Y accommodated in an accommodation device 40 approximately in the vertical direction to be fed to the stand-by part 26. Each stand-by part 26 of the parallel transfer mechanism 21 has a movable wall member 27 capable of changing the position of the blood collection tube Y to a normal position α to hold the blood collection tube Y at the stand-by part 26 or to a discharge position β to drop the blood collection tube Y from the stand-by part 26 to be fed to an opposed label printing and sticking device.
