PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand device for an operating microscope, which prevents a counterweight from protruding backward, even when an upper part of a parallel link mechanism is tilted forward.SOLUTION: A parallel link mechanism A has its lower end a attached to a stand body 1, without having its vertical midway part attached to the stand body 1. Thus, there is no part protruding backward in the parallel link mechanism A, even when the parallel link mechanism A is tilted forward.
