PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a vegetable-derived beverage product or a process intermediate body.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for preparing a vegetable-derived beverage product or a process intermediate body comprising: a step where the pulverized or liquefied extract of a vegetable material is provided； and a step where the extract is exposed to a size exclusion refining means including membrane filtration (such as nano- filtration, ultra-filtration and cross-flow filtration) to provide a beverage product or a process intermediate body thereof, in which the refining means can at least partially separate undesirable components from desirable components. The refining method can be applied to a vegetable material in such a manner that, while selectively removing various components, the other is left.
