PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a heat-generating sheet, capable of stably manufacturing a heat-generating sheet having desired quality by preventing an application liquid from being applied on an unwanted portion.SOLUTION: The method is used to manufacture a heat-generating sheet 10 including a sheet-like heat-generating body 2 formed by applying an application liquid containing an electrolyte to a sheet-like intermediate body 2A containing an oxidizable magnetic metal powder and a fibrous material, and sheets 11A, 12A for covering both the surfaces of the body 2. The manufacturing method has: a first step of applying the application liquid to a plurality of intermediate bodies 2A while transporting them by a first transport means 4 in a state where the intermediate bodies 2A are approximated to a flow direction a second step of transferring the sheet-like heat-generating body 2 obtained by application of the application liquid to a second transport means 6 having a transport speed higher than that of the first transport means by using attraction of magnetic force of a magnet 62, and in the transfer, expanding the intervals of the heat-generating bodies 2 in the flow direction and a third step, after the second step, of merging the sheet 12A to a surface opposite to a surface facing the second transport means 6 in the heat-generating body 2.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】塗布液を、不必要な箇所に塗布することを防止することができ、所望の品質の発熱シートを安定して製造することができる発熱シートの製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】被酸化性磁性金属粉末及び繊維材料を含有するシート状の中間体2Aに、電解質を含む塗布液を塗布してなるシート状発熱体2と、その両面を被覆するシート11A,12Aを具備する発熱シート10の製造方法であって、複数の中間体2Aを、流れ方向に近接させた状態で第1搬送手段4により搬送しつつ、中間体2Aに塗布液を塗布する第1工程と、塗布液の塗布により得られるシート状の発熱体2を、第1搬送手段より搬送速度が速い第2搬送手段6に、磁石62の磁力により引き寄せて転移させ、その転移の際に、発熱体2の流れ方向の間隔を拡大させる第2工程と、第2工程後に、発熱体2における第2搬送手段6側に向いた面とは反対側の面にシート12Aを合流させる第3工程を具備する。【選択図】図2
