PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of suppressing a change in white balance of a photographed image even if light intensity of an illumination light changes.SOLUTION: A light source device 2 comprises: a white light source part 24A that emits a white light K1A and an infrared light source unit 25 that emits an excitation light K2 of a wavelength band ΔE2 partially overlapping with a wavelength band ΔE1 of the white light K1A within a wavelength band of a visible light, and the device emits an illumination light K for photographing upon combining the white light K1A with the excitation light K2 into a same optical axis and can switch the excitation light K2 on and off.
