To provide a composition for suppressing blood pressure increase which has a strong blood pressure increase suppressing effect and can be produced efficiently in a relatively short period of time.SOLUTION: A koji mold fermented product of seaweed is obtained by inoculating Koji mold into a culture liquid containing seaweed as a raw material and culturing under aerobic conditions. This fermented soybean fermented product is used as an active ingredient of the blood pressure rise suppression composition.
