PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope holding device in which a weight load on driving means does not change even when an endoscope holding angle changes and the driving means can be controlled easily.SOLUTION: An endoscope 9 is connected with a counter weight 16 by a belt 17 through a pulley 12 in an interlocking manner so that the weight of the endoscope 9 is cancelled by the counter weight 16 regardless of an angle at which the endoscope 9 is held. Thus, a load on the pulley 12 and the belt 17 is constant all the time and does not change with the holding angle so that it is easy to control a motor 18 for moving the endoscope 9 forward and backward in a longitudinal direction A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】内視鏡の保持角度が変化しても駆動手段への重量負荷が変化せず、駆動手段の制御が容易な内視鏡保持装置を提供する。【解決手段】内視鏡９がプーリ１２を介したベルト１７によりカウンタウェイト１６と連動した状態で連結されているため、内視鏡９の保持角度にかかわらず内視鏡９の重量はカウンタウェイト１６により相殺される。従ってプーリ１２やベルト１７に加わる負荷は常に一定で保持角度により変動しないため、内視鏡９を長手方向Ａへ進退動させるためのモータ１８の制御が容易である。【選択図】 図２
