PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain powder for cosmetics by easily taking out a pearl layer of a pearl oyster by utilizing the state of the calcium carbonate of a pearl oyster shell.SOLUTION: The powder for the cosmetics with the thin-sliced calcium carbonate as a main component is characterized in that the pearl oyster shell is crashed after being immersed in an alkaline solution, and sorted at 200 to 500 meshes.
