PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propolis extract that has good visual appearance characteristics, and a production method thereof, a capsule, and an anti-oxidant.SOLUTION: The propolis extract comprises an extract obtained by using a propolis original lump as the extraction raw material, or by using a residue obtained after the extraction treatment of a propolis original lump using water or hydrophilic organic solvent, and using, as the extraction solvent, at least one oily component selected from squalene, perilla oil, docosahexaenoic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, wheat germ oil, evening primrose oil, and grape oil. Preferably, the extraction solvent is at least one selected from squalene, perilla oil, docosahexaenoic acid, and eicosapentaenoic acid, and the extract preferably is further cooled to 10°C or below and then the insoluble component is removed by filtration or centrifugation.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】外観特性に優れるプロポリス抽出物及びその製造方法、カプセル、並びに抗酸化剤を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のプロポリス抽出物は、抽出原料としてプロポリス原塊、又はプロポリス原塊から水若しくは親水性有機溶媒を用いた抽出処理後の残渣を使用し、抽出溶媒としてスクワレン、しそ油、ドコサヘキサエン酸、エイコサペンタエン酸、小麦胚芽油、月見草油、及びブドウ油から選ばれる少なくとも一種の油性成分を用いて得られる抽出物を含んでなる。前記抽出溶媒は、スクワレン、しそ油、ドコサヘキサエン酸、及びエイコサペンタエン酸から選ばれる少なくとも一種であって、前記抽出物は、さらに10℃以下に冷却した後、濾過又は遠心分離により不溶性成分を除去したものであることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
