The present invention relates to a composition for regulating cell division by promoting or inhibiting the activity of FCHo1, and a method for regulating cell division using the same. The FCHo1 activity modulator of the present invention targets FCHo1 which functions as an important factor in cell division, and promotes or inhibits the activity thereof, thereby promoting cell division or inhibiting cell division, and thus can be effectively utilized for the treatment of diseases associated with cell division.
