PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-woven fabric with suppressed increase in stiffness, excellent in flexibility and without having the crush and fall of ridge parts and the closing of opening holes.
SOLUTION: This non-woven fabric has ridge parts 20 and groove parts 30 alternately, each of them extending in one direction, and opening holes 31 at the groove parts 30. As compared with the groove parts 30, the ridge parts are made to have substantially increased amount of fibers. The fiber density is different between the top part 21 of the ridge part 20 and the end part of the opening hole part 31. The non-woven fabric contains 50 wt.% or more of self welding fibers, and the fibers are heat bonded to each other. The distance between the centers of the fibers at the bonded part of the fibers is larger than a value obtained by summing up the distances from the center of each of the fiber to the outer surface of the fiber.
