PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric having flexibility and cushioning properties caused by uneven shape and excellent liquid drawing property caused by capillary force.
SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric 10 has one surface 10a and the other surface 10b, recessed parts 20, recessed parts 30 positioned between the recessed parts 20 and openings 31 on the recessed parts 30 on one surface 10a side. The nonwoven fabric 10 has a multilayer structure having first fiber layers 101 and second fiber layers 102. In the recessed parts 20, the first fiber layers 101 and the second fiber layers 102 are different in fiber density at their boundary. In parts occupied by the first fiber layers 101 in the projected parts, the fiber density of a central area 114 of the part is higher than that of a surface area 113.
