A movement vector calculation unit 10 that calculates a movement vector between images, a movement vector integration unit 11 that integrates the movement vector from the time when the reference image is held to the current time, and a reference image based on the integration result at the current time. A deformed image generation unit 12 that generates a deformed image that has been moved and changed to a tomographic image that determines whether the reference image and the current ultrasonic image have the same tomographic plane by comparing the deformed image and the current ultrasonic image.
