PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable seedling transplanter which can vertically hold seedlings regardless of a planting depth and can stably plant the seedlings in a planting depth of a wide range.SOLUTION: In the vegetable seedling transplanter, a planting device (6) comprising a laterally openable or closable bill-like planting tool (11), a lifting or lowering arm (12) capable of being lifted or lowered and holding the planting tool (11) at the rear end, and a sub-link (13) capable of being lifted or lowered in parallel to the lifting or lowering arm (12) and connected to the planting tool (11) to hold the posture is loaded on a machine frame capable of advancing at a prescribed vehicle speed.
