The present invention provides a HARQ processing method in response to uplink transmission in a distribution-type wireless base station, the wireless base station comprising at least one base unit (BU) for processing a digital signal, and at least one radio unit (RU) installed in a service coverage area so as to communicate with a user equipment (UE) in a wireless manner, wherein the BU is coupled through a transfer network to each cell group including a set of RU groups in which at least one RU is grouped, and the method comprises: a first step in which the BU configures an RU group by grouping RUs by UE; a second step in which the BU sets, as an HARQ manager, any one of the RUs belonging to the RU group grouped by UE; and a third step in which the BU transmits an HARQ response signal to the UE through the RU, which is the set HARQ manager.
