A tensioningrotor (18) and a drive rotor (20) are mounted so they are rotatable coaxiallytoone another. A first cam control converts the rotation of the drive rotor (20)into a radial forward and reverse movement of a drive rod (9). A second camcontrol converts the rotational movement of the tensioning rotor (18) into alinear movement of a link slide (11). A switching link (34) moved by the linkslide (11) rotates the magazine (4) one step further. A third cam controlconvertsthe rotational movement of the tensioning rotor (18) into a linear movementof a pressure tappet (37) perpendicular to the piercing axis.
