PURPOSE: A method for controlling defrosting of a direct/indirect cooling mixed type Kimchi refrigerator is provided to reduce power consumption, and to improve a defrosting process of a direct cooling chamber by performing a defrosting and a cooing processes of the direct cooling chamber. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling defrosting of a direct/indirect cooling mixed type Kimchi refrigerator comprises the following steps: determining operation process when a defrosting operation of a direction cooling chamber and a cooling operation of an indirect cooling chamber are performed at the same time(S210)； delaying cooling operation of the indirect cooling chamber when the two operations are overlapped； maintaining defrosting operation of the direct cooling chamber when the cooling operation of the indirect cooling chamber starts； and halting the cooling operation of the indirection cooling chamber until the operation is completed(S230).본 발명은 직간냉식 혼합형 김치냉장고의 제상제어방법에 관한 것으로, 직냉식룸의 제상운전 동작과 간냉식룸의 냉각운전 동작이 겹치는지 판단하는 단계； 판단 결과 두개 룸의 동작이 겹치면, 직냉식룸의 제상운전이 종료될 때까지 간냉식룸의 냉각운전 동작을 지연시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
