The present invention provides a magnetic fluid sealed bearing with which torque can be reduced without impairing a water and dust proof effect. A magnetic fluid sealed bearing (1) according to the present invention includes a magnetic fluid retained by an ring-shaped magnet (21) in an opening between an inner ring (3a) and an outer ring (3b) to seal a plurality of rolling members (3c). The magnet (21) is magnetized such that their magnetic poles point to an axial direction. The bearing further includes a ring-shaped outer polar plate (22) and a ring-shaped inner polar plate (23) sandwiching the ring-shaped magnet (21) therebetween, one side of the polar plates being fixed to one of the inner ring and the outer ring, and the other side of the polar plates facing a clearance. The bearing further includes an outer ring magnetic fluid (25b) retained at least one of between the outer ring and the outer polar plate, between the outer ring and the inner polar plate, and between the outer ring and the magnet, and an inner ring magnetic fluid (25a) retained at least one of between the inner ring and the outer polar plate, between the inner ring and the inner polar plate, and between the inner ring and the magnet.본 발명의 과제는 방수ㆍ방진 기능을 손상시키지 않고 저토크화가 도모되는 자성 유체 시일이 부착된 베어링을 제공하는 것이다.본 발명의 자성 유체 시일이 부착된 베어링(1)은 내륜(3a)과 외륜(3b)의 개구측에 링 형상의 자석(21)을 배치하여 자성 유체를 보유 지지하고, 복수의 전동체(3c)를 시일한다. 자석(21)은 축방향으로 자극이 향하도록 착자되어 있고, 링 형상의 자석(21)을 끼움 지지하여, 내륜 및 외륜 중 어느 한쪽을 고정측, 다른 쪽을 간극측으로 한 링 형상의 외측 극판(22) 및 링 형상의 내측 극판(23)을 구비하고, 외륜과 상기 외측 극판 사이, 외륜과 내측 극판 사이, 외륜과 자석 사이 중 1개소 이상에 보유 지지되는 외륜측 자성 유체(25b)와, 내륜과 외측 극판 사이, 내륜과 내측 극판 사이, 내륜과 자석 사이 중 1개소 이상에 보유 지지되는 내륜측 자성 유체(25a)를 갖는다.
