PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urethra insertion device and a detection method which can reliably apply a surgical treatment to a biological tissue positioned between a urethral lumen and a vaginal cavity.SOLUTION: A urethra insertion member 4 with a long length is to be inserted to a urethra 1300 to reach the inside of a bladder 1310.
