PURPOSE: Brassica rapa ssp. Pekinensis-derived histone acetyltransferase 1 and a gene encoding the same are provided to identify histone post-transcriptional modifications and transcriptional gene silencing (TGS) in Brassica rapa ssp. Pekinensis. CONSTITUTION: A primer gene encoding Brassica rapa ssp. Pekinensis-derived histone acetyltransferase 1 has base sequences of sequence numbers 1 and 2. A gene encoding Brassica rapa ssp. Pekinensis-derived histone acetyltransferase 1 has a base sequence of sequence number 3. Brassica rapa ssp. Pekinensis-derived histone acetyltransferase 1 has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 4. A recombinant plasmid is prepared by cloning the gene into pGEM-T easy vector.
