PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference denture base or a reference denture which has a denture base of a prescribed shape and where a length in a direction perpendicular to a tooth axis of an artificial tooth is regulated in a prescribed range.SOLUTION: A denture is fabricated by using: a maxilla reference denture base 100 which is configured such that when a lenth of a line segment PQ connecting a point P corresponding to a left-side pterygomaxillary notch at a base rear edge and a point Q corresponding to a right-side pterygomaxillary notch is 1, a length of a line segment OM connecting a point O corresponding to a frenulum of an upper lip at the exact middle of a lip-side base edge and a middle point M of the line segment PQ is 0.76 to 0.98 and is configured by arranging an artificial tooth in a prescribed position and at a prescribed height； and a mandible reference dental base which is configured such that when a length of a line segment pq connecting a point p corresponding to a left-side retromolar pad at a base rear edge and a point q corresponding to a right-side retromolar pad is 1, a length of a line segment om connecting a point o corresponding to a frenulum of a lower lip at the exact middle of a lip-side base edge and a middle point m of the line segment pq is 0.76 to 0.94 and is configured by arranging an artificial tooth in a prescribed position and at a prescribed height.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】所定の形状の義歯床を有するとともに、人工歯の歯軸に垂直方向の長さが所定の範囲に規定されている基準義歯床又は基準義歯を提供する。【解決手段】床後縁の左側翼突上顎切痕に相当する点Ｐと右側翼突上顎切痕に相当する点Ｑとを結ぶ線分ＰＱの長さを１とした場合、唇側床縁の正中にあたる上唇小帯に相当する点Ｏと線分ＰＱの中点Ｍとを結ぶ線分ＯＭの長さが０．７６～０．９８である上顎基準義歯床１００であって、人工歯が所定の位置及び高さで配列されて成る上顎基準義歯床と、床後縁の左側臼後隆起に相当する点ｐと右側臼後隆起に相当する点ｑとを結ぶ線分ｐｑの長さを１とした場合、唇側床縁の正中にあたる下唇小帯に相当する点ｏと線分ｐｑの中点ｍとを結ぶ線分ｏｍの長さが０．７６～０．９４である下顎基準義歯床であって、人工歯が所定の位置及び高さで配列されて成る下顎基準義歯床と、と用いて義歯を作製する。【選択図】図１
