PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change, for example, a starting position S of a service car 1 performing autonomous travel along a travel route P and an end position E thereof without re-generating the travel route P after the travel route P is generated.SOLUTION: A route generation device comprises: a route generation unit 55 which can specify a travel area F where a machine body 2 is made to perform autonomous travel, and generate a travel route P of the machine body 2 in the travel area F in advance； and a controller 4 which can instruct the machine body 2 to travel along the travel route P.
