The invention relates to a process for obtaining a jam-type preparation. According to the invention, the process consists in selecting, sorting, washing and peeling the fruits, triturating the same until obtaining a homogenous paste, macerating by adding ethyl alcohol of 10...96% concentration, in a volume ratio of 1 : 1...1 : 10, at a temperature of 20...50°C, for 1...7 days, homogenizing the paste thus obtained, vacuum-eliminating the alcohol, in an evaporator, at 20...50°C, until obtaining the finished product having a Brix concentration of 20...85%, immediately packing in glass jars with lids, under bactericide lamp and storing in rooms free from sun, heat or excessive humidity.
