PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type rice planting machine that surely operates a planting clutch even if there is fine dust and reduces number of components related to operations of the planting clutch.SOLUTION: The walking type rice planting machine 1 is provided with a planting clutch operation mechanism 200 that operates the planting clutch 90 for permitting transmission and stop of driving force from an engine 3 to a planting device 5. The planting clutch operation mechanism 200 has a main rod 240 with one end part rotatably connected to a planting clutch arm 220 for operating the planting clutch 90, and a middle part equipped with bending parts 241a and 241b elastically deformed in the bending direction.
