To provide a walking type working machine enabling a continuous grip operation for a long time by reducing a gripping force of a clutch lever of a handle.
SOLUTION: The walking type working machine is equipped with a gripping force reducing body for enabling: a reducing operation for reducing a gripping force of a clutch lever 13 by keeping pressing and a releasing operation for canceling a reducing operation and a gripping operation of the clutch lever 13 by keeping pressing. The gripping force of the clutch lever necessary for continuing grip operating the clutch lever is reduced while keeping a transmission of a POWER in a connecting state by reducing operation by pressing a gripping force reducing body and therefore the physical fatigue of a worker is reduced.
