The present invention relates to a walking type working machine, which is to promote miniaturization and weight lightening of a means capable of horizontally scraping and lifting plowed soil, to stably perform a ridging operation with high operability while gripping a steering wheel, and to properly perform various cultivating operations or a ridging operation using a single type of a plate-shaped member. The walking type working machine of the present invention comprises: a machine body having a steering wheel connected thereto, and manipulated by a worker； a tillage device (2)； an auxiliary wheel (30) for assisting a driving posture of the machine body by being grounded to a pavement during tillage operation driving； and a plate-shaped member (40) installed at the rear of the tillage device (2), and scraping and lifting left and right furrows while elastically deforming soil plowed by the tillage device (2) during the tillage operation driving. The plate-shaped member (40) is located on both left and right sides of the auxiliary wheel (30), and is installed in a state of overlapping the auxiliary wheel (30) viewed at a side surface of the machine body. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the walking type working machine of the present invention comprises: a machine body having a steering wheel connected thereto； a tillage device (2) supported on a rear part of the machine body； a plate-shaped member (40) installed at the rear of the tillage device (2), and scraping and lifting left and right furrows while elastically deforming soil plowed by the tillage device (2) during the tillage operation driving； and a ridging member (6) installed to correspond to an upper portion of both left and right sides of the plate-shaped member (40), protruding from both left and right side portions of the plate-shaped member (40) to left and right sides to assist soil to be scraped and lifted by the plate-shaped member (40).
