PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated particles for cosmetics excellent in water resistance and to provide cosmetics comprising the resin-coated particles for cosmetics.SOLUTION: Metallic oxide particles, a layer derived from a coupling agent which coats the surface of the metallic oxide particles, and a resin layer which coats the layer of derived from the coupling agent are contained. The coupling agent is at least one selected from the group consisting of an aluminium-containing organic compound represented by a specific general formula, a zirconium-containing organic compound and a titanium-containing organic compound represented by a specific general formula.
