PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weeding tool that can pull out a plant such as a weed by the roots.SOLUTION: A weeding tool 1, which is a tool for pulling out a weed which sprouted and grew from a core including a seed as a starting point, has a sticking part 3 which can be stuck into the soil. The sticking part 3 includes: a surrounding part 4 which can surround the root of the weed in the state that the sticking part is stuck into the soil and a catching part 5 which can catch the core of the weed (a part which was originally a seed) in the course of pulling out the sticking part from the soil. The sticking part 3 is openably/closably formed, can take the root of the weed inside the surrounding part 4 by sticking the sticking part into the soil in the state that it is opened, and can guide the catching part 5 toward the core of the weed by pulling out the sticking part from the soil in the state that it is closed. The catching part 5 is a long and narrow gap connected with the space surrounded by the surrounding part 4. By using such a tool, the risk of damaging or cutting the root of a weed to be pulled out can be eliminated, and therefore the weed is pulled out by the roots.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】雑草などの植物を根こそぎ的に駆除できる草取り用具を提供する。【解決手段】草取り道具1は、種子などからなる核を始点として発芽し成長した草を取るための器具あって、土中に突き刺すことが可能な突き刺し部3を有している。突き刺し部3は、突き刺し部を土中に突き刺した状態で草の根を囲むことが可能な包囲部4と、突き刺し部を土中から引き抜く過程で草の核(元々種子であった部分)を引っ掛けることが可能な引っ掛け部5を有する。突き刺し部3は開閉自在に構成され、開状態で土中に突き刺すことで包囲部4の内側に草の根を取り込むことが可能であり、また、閉状態で土中から引き抜くことで引っ掛け部5を草の核の方へ導くことが可能である。引っ掛け部5は、包囲部4で囲まれた空間と一続きの細長い隙間で構成されている。このような器具を用いることで、除去する雑草の根を傷つけたり切断する心配がなく、雑草を根こそぎにできる。【選択図】図2
